Do you ever just want to sit around with your girlfriends and talk about decorating tips and tricks? But they only want to talk about an upcoming snow storm or the state of current affairs. And so you try to weave the conversation back to pretty dishes and lovely paint colors. And they’re off again talking about their mother-in-law or the latest news about their kids. So you jump in with, ‘yeah, my daughter just got a new apartment and she’s doing it in all farmhouse whites.’
Yep, story of my life…
You see, I went to art school. I was a fashion designer for most of my life. I’ve always had my creative friends apart from my at-home-day-to-day friends. And because we all need a creative outlet and, like me, you’re passionate about home decor, I have a little gem to share with you today.
My friends Kelly, Anita and Yvonne have started a wonderful new podcast that’s all about decorating tips and tricks. It’s lighthearted banter and laughs, as well as awesome decorating advice. In three 30 minute episodes a week, they share their secrets on various home decor topics and these girls really know their stuff. It’s practical, it’s informative and it’s fun! Just like sitting around with your girlfriends, talking about decorating tips and tricks.

Episode 13: Using Silver, China, Crystal
I suspect most of you already know this talented decorating triumvirate. They are Kelly from My Soulful Home, Anita from Cedar Hill Farmhouse and Yvonne from StoneGable.
Anita from Cedar Hill Farmhouse is an extraordinarily talented designer and a generous blogging friend. She, too, fuses French with farmhouse decor and a healthy dose of vintage style mixed in, yet her signature look is all her own. Anita is the author of French Accents, a beautiful design book celebrating French style.
Yvonne from Stone Gable is not only an exceptional talent, but she’s one of the most prolific bloggers I know. She’s brimming over with warmth as she shares her welcoming farmhouse home. There’s no end to the projects she’s often in the middle of and I know she has some more exciting things coming soon.
It’s easy to listen to the Decorating Tips and Tricks podcasts. You can enjoy the episode I’ve linked to above by clicking on the arrow right here in this post. You can also listen to all of the episodes at this link to the Decorating Tips & Tricks website. Or, best of all, you can subscribe through itunes by clicking right HERE.
Whichever you choose, you can listen on your computer, laptop, tablet or phone. I love listening on my phone because I can listen anywhere, and 30 minutes happens to be the exact length of time I spend on the treadmill!
