Home Style Saturdays 31 | Pink Hyacinths and Room Updates Coming
Happy weekend everyone and welcome to Home Style Saturdays! You may have noticed after a burst of spring color the past few weeks, I’ve softened my tones again and today I’m enjoying these pale pink hyacinths. I tend to go vibrant in March and April and then think pale and feminine for May and June, with Mother’s Day and bridal showers dominating the calendar.
I got a lot done this past week and I’m finally beginning to get back to, or at least closer to, my normal posting schedule. I’ve got a lot upcoming in the next few weeks with updates in the dining room, family room and master bedroom, so you can expect to see those coming your way very soon.
I also just may have another magazine photo shoot, some far away travel and a whole lot of antique shopping going on, so stay tuned for all the progress. And now, because it’s Saturday, let’s take a look at what my friends have been up to. Enjoy!!

Hyacinths can make the whole house smell nice.
I am so excited for you-another magazine. Please keep us posted as soon as it is out. I was not following your blog until about 6 mos ago and when I read that you were in Romantic Homes, April 2016 issue, I had to find the copy. I was lucky to order one. It was a wonderful “Fashion House”.
I know this one will be too, and I am sure, your beautiful kitchen will be on the front page How proud you must be of this accomplishment and also all the other bloggers who have also been published. I can’t wait to see what you have coming up on the Family Room, DR and bedroom remodels. I need to take a breather though- I’m trying to get a Kitchen, DR, sititng area, Powder Room. It is overwhelming. I’m not sure how you do it all 🙁 But you always inspire me and remind us to take time and smell the beautiful flowers, and I thank you for that Lory.:>)
