1. I do agree with your walking around “wanting”, I have done this myself. While my husband was in a nursing home for six years following a major stroke (I was told he would not live through the first night, then not the second night) I realized that the only way to get through this unpredictable time was to be grateful for what I have instead of focusing on what I don’t have. He is gone now and I have replaced some of the things I had during that time, I am grateful that now I can chose what I LIKE instead of trying to compromise with him. But I don’t have him. Being grateful means that what you have right now is enough right now.
