  1. Your home is beautiful and you clearly have a lot of energy! Lol can you share with me where you got the ottoman in the living room? It’s stunning!!!

In a long ago house, I had a very small bathroom, much like the one you have. To renovate without gutting, I took off the clear shower doors (yes, it’s possible) and scraped off all the glue that held the doors in place. There were a few holes in the tile that I simply filled with grout and then they were not terribly noticeable. Then, I painted all the surrounding walls the same color as the tile so the tile blended in much more. These two steps gave the small bath much more depth since you are then seeing to the very back wall. I hung a decorative shower curtain made of very light fabric as high as it would go and tied it back to hide the shower head and tub faucet. I hung a second rod (used the extendable type that “grip” the wall) BEHIND the decorative curtain. From this rod hung the very light, functional shower curtain that gets pulled across when shower is in use. Hung properly, you don’t see this rod. You are very fortunate that your tile is white (or almost). Makes it easier to hide things than the light peach tile I had to contend with. Your decorative shower curtain could be white with black trim along the side and bottom to tie into the tile border. This is a relatively quick fix that is very affordable and doesn’t require gutting. Just a thought…I love your blog, by the way.

    1. Thanks for the wonderful idea!! I’ve also sprayed tile in my old house, so we could always spray it white. My son uses it on rare occasions but it’s not like it’s the master bath. The shower door definitely needs to go… 🙂

  3. Wooziest, you have a lot on your plate again this year and I especially can’t wait to see the new floors, they’ll be another show stopper. Happy renovating and revamping your lovely home, a home I’d die for as it is. Stay well!

    1. Thank you so much! Funny thing is, I thought of this year as 3 key projects and not much else… 😉 I’m also well aware that if I never get to them, it would be fine. ?

  4. Wow, sounds like you will be busy in 2021 and I look forward to following along.

Thanks so much for organizing today – such a fun thing to look at everyone’s plans for the year.(Hopefully this will keep me more on task!)
