I wonder if in retrospect we will look back at this time and think how great it was that we spent so much time outdoors?⁣

It certainly is nice to get all that fresh air.⁣

Small homey gatherings on a summer night, with a great bottle of wine and a small group of friends, food ordered "in" and served in the simplest of entertaining styles.⁣

I can't believe the summer is winding down and peo

I can't believe the summer is winding down and people are already worrying about the return to school (or not).⁣
⁣
With grown children, that's not something that affects me personally, so I have the luxury to stay firmly rooted in summer.⁣
⁣
To say it's been a strange summer is an understatement, but at least we've been able to dine outdoors and even have small get-togethers at home.⁣
⁣
This is definitely one of my favorite summer tables, with an all white foundation, lots of vintage accent pieces and pops of color provided by the pretty bouquets.⁣

Yeah, I'm not ready to let summer go.⁣

Today I have the pleasure of sharing with you one of my absolute besties! It's Shelia from @maisondecinq and she is exceptionally talented and has exquisite taste!! ⁣

Her home is styled beautifully following her signature vision which she calls 'casual chic', a perfect descriptor of her relaxed but elegant approach.⁣

Her French-inspired decor is just gorgeous, while her tablescapes are stunning, all presented via her magnificent photography! ⁣

Just when you thought things couldn't get any weirder, now we have to hunker down for the storm. ⁣
⁣
Hopefully it won't be hurricane strength here in the northeast, but there's always that chance for power outages and such. ⁣
⁣
Planning to workout early in case we do lose power and then it's into the tub for me for a relaxing soak. 🛁 ⁣
⁣
Will try to turn it into a pleasant day of pampering!💅🏻 Let's hope it's not that bad. 🙏🙏🙏
