STEP 1

PREP THE PIECE

For a timeworn look pick at least 3 neutral colors from dark to light.

SELECT YOUR PAINT COLORS

Paint two flat coats.

FOR THE BASE COAT USE THE DARKEST COLOR

HIGHLIGHT THE DETAILS BY BUILDING UP  THE LIGHTER COLORS

PROTECT THE FINISH WITH 2 COATS OF CLEAR WAX

Test your colors on a piece of scrap wood. Remove drawers and paint separately. Let wax dry overnight and then buff lightly. You can always paint over any mistakes.
