French Country Fridays 13: Savoring the Charm of French Inspired Decor

Welcome to French Country Fridays 13, a place to celebrate the charm of French inspired decor!

Is everyone wondering what happened to spring? Maybe where you live you’ve had a wonderful extended spring, but here in the northeast, we seem to have gone straight from winter into summer. I suspected this would happen and it’s messing with my spring cleaning and organizing plans. I have quite a few indoor projects at various stages of progression and all of a sudden I’ve started thinking about working on our exterior areas. I always enjoy sprucing up the back patio and I’ve been thinking about doing some landscaping in the front of our house, too.

But I’m fighting the urge to work on these summer projects while in the midst of my spring projects. Next week I’ll be revealing our home office updates and we’re also beginning the actual work on the master bath renovation. “Before” photos have already been taken and I’ll be clearing out the room this weekend for demolition to start on Monday. Next up I was looking at the living room, but that might be put on hold as I begin thinking about entertaining outdoors!
