Yesterday was one of those days where I really focused on the notion of living for today. You know… life is short, eat the cake. So I bought a donut! And it was awesome. I certainly don’t recommend eating donuts every day, but indulging in small pleasures is always a great idea. Getting a massage, buying a bouquet of flowers, taking a bubble bath – these are all wonderful ideas that are healthier than donuts. The main purpose of my blog is to share ways to make home just a little bit better than ordinary, to raise daily routines into special moments. That’s what the charm of romantic decor does for me and if you’re reading French Country Fridays, then I’m guessing it does the same for you too!
