It’s no surprise that my first category is Gifts for the Hostess. As a home decor blogger, this is most definitely my wheelhouse. Many of these gifts are appropriate to bring as hostess gifts, while others are perfect as Christmas gifts for those who love to entertain. In either case, they’re all current and the blush and cream palette is very on trend.

Gifts for the Fashionista

I’m not sure if you all know that I spent most of my career working as a fashion designer. Yep, 25 years in fact! I’ve toyed with the idea, many times, of bringing fashion into the mix on the blog, but I’ve often wondered if my edgy perspective would resonate with my readers. What it does do is qualify me to recommend gifts for the fashionista in your life. If, like me, you love up-to-the-minute fashion, you may want to use this as your own wish list. But if instead you are more classic, it might be perfect for your fashion forward daughter, relative or friend!

Gifts for Him

As with my recommendations for women, my gift guide for men is also a bit on the updated side. From side stripe pants to shearling and mock necks, I’ve included both the latest looks, as well as more classic items of interest. A few items are techie, although Part 2 of my shopping guide will address the category in greater detail.
