Valentines Day Gifts: Romantic Gift Ideas from the Shop

Did I ever tell you why I started my blog?

Without going into a whole long story, it had everything to do with finding an outlet for my creative endeavors. As a former fashion designer, I knew I wasn’t done designing and while I wasn’t exactly sure where blogging would take me, I had the distinct sense that it would be an interesting ride with opportunities I couldn’t yet imagine.

I still believe that’s the case and that there are many paths I’ve not yet meandered down. But one dream I have realized is opening the Posh Cottage Shop with my business partner, Janet from Shabbyfufu.

But our little shop was a long time in the making and a year ago I was selling only one pillow on my blog. The “peony love” pillow, above, will always have a special place in my heart, as it was my one and only product at the time.

Yet here we are a year later, and Janet and I are adding new products every few weeks or any time the spirit moves us. We have personalized monogrammed items, seasonal pieces and use imagery and text alike. And there are so many more ideas waiting to come to fruition.

This month, we’ve added our Valentine’s Day collection, which includes romantic pillows and sweet little mugs which would make wonderful Valentines Day gifts. Fill the mugs with candy and give as a gift, or keep them for yourself to smile at all year long!
