Why Add a Wreath?
A wreath is like jewelry for your front door.
This charming ring of greenery and embellishments adds a lovely bit of elegance to the entryway, breaking up that great expanse of wood that is the front door. It can welcome visitors in bouquet-like fashion and announce to passersby that you care about your home. It’s an opportunity to express your personality and gives little hints about what one might find past the threshold.
Wreaths are a delightful way to celebrate each holiday or season, and they’re incredibly easy to switch out, instantly refreshing your home’s exterior. They can bolster your home’s curb appeal and spread some cheer to the neighborhood, as well.
Ideas for a Christmas Wreath
There are countless ways to create a wreath and an unlimited number of ideas for what to include. From simple wood loops to embellished evergreens and everything in between, the base of the wreath is one of many decisions you need to make and the rest of your creation builds upon that further. Add greens and bits of nature, including pine cones and berries, plus flowers, bows and bells, and anything else under the sun.
My taste tends to run toward the sophisticated side, so most of my preferences lean more elegant than playful, but there are whimsical surprises included nonetheless.
