The Legion Of Honor Museum – Salon Doré
Get lost in the Salon Doré at the Legion of Honor Museum in San Francisco.
Designed during the reign of Louis XVI, the room was originally installed in the Hôtel de la Trémoille on Paris as a salon de compagnie (the principal reception room). Throughout its history, the paneling of the Salon Doré has been moved no less than six times! It has called the Legion of Honor “home” since 1959.
Château de Haroué: The Home of the Princes de Beauvau-Craon
The most romantic chateau in France is revealed in a gorgeous new book out this month, published by Rizzoli. The history-filled circa 1720 Château de Haroué in eastern France, is the style-rich family home of the noble Beauvau-Craon family, who continue to live there. Hip Paris – A Guide To Paris’ Flea Markets
Le Marché aux Puces de Saint-Ouen is the largest antique market in the world.
