The Legion Of Honor Museum – Salon DorĂ©
Get lost in the Salon Doré at the Legion of Honor Museum in San Francisco.
Designed during the reign of Louis XVI, the room was originally installed in the HĂ´tel de la TrĂ©moille on Paris as a salon de compagnie (the principal reception room). Throughout its history, the paneling of the Salon DorĂ© has been moved no less than six times! It has called the Legion of Honor “home” since 1959.

Château de Haroué: The Home of the Princes de Beauvau-Craon
The most romantic chateau in France is revealed in a gorgeous new book out this month, published by Rizzoli. The history-filled circa 1720 Château de Haroué in eastern France, is the style-rich family home of the noble Beauvau-Craon family, who continue to live there. Read a complete review and then get this one for the beautiful interiors and the story behind the chateau.

Hip Paris – A Guide To Paris’ Flea Markets
Le Marché aux Puces de Saint-Ouen is the largest antique market in the world. Les Puces is made up of over 2,500 little shops spread across fifteen unique mini markets and absolutely filled to the brim with rare treasures. The reality is you could spend a lifetime sifting through the 17 acres of flea market madness. Head on over to Hip Paris for a short guide on top three markets to visit and where you to grab a bite to eat in the environs.
