French Country Fridays 28: Savoring the Charm of French Inspired Decor

Welcome to French Country Fridays 28, a place to celebrate the charm of French inspired decor!

Where do you go when you need some creative inspiration? Do you have your ‘go-to’ places? In the ideal world, I’d be taking a trip to the French countryside every time I needed a burst of creative energy. But in the real world, besides online resources, I love to spend an afternoon strolling an antique market. Often I go with something specific in mind, but the best trips are the aimless ones where I let the spirit move me.

I also love quaint little tea and pastry shops or charming places for lunch. Sometimes I’m inspired by bookstores, where I can get lost for hours, especially travel book stores. Real life house and garden tours do it for me, too.

So where are your favorite places to escape to for a re-charge? Of course, I also love to visit online pages too. So on that note…
