  2. This post was on the spot for me. I am, just now, tweeking our master bedroom to showcase some of my blue and white collection and our antique green painted/gold gilded furniture. Your post has encouraged me to continue on with the blues and greens.

I like the green terracotta pot and the clock. I put hunter green carpet in the living room, hallway and bedrooms almost 20 years ago so obviously I like green! I put hardwood down everywhere but the bedrooms about 3 years ago. I’d love to replace the bedroom carpet with something more neutral but that’s not going to happen this year.

I know what you mean about everyone wearing the same color. No matter where I go, shopping, dining, church, it looks like I’m at a funeral. Everyone is wearing black, with maybe a daring hint of denim blue. With all the colors in nature, you’d think people would use them. Can you tell that’s one of my pet peevishnesses? *L*

As for that green, it’s one of my favorite colors and I have never waited for some “authority”, such as Pantone, to tell me it’s the in color. I use it whenever, wherever I like it.

    1. Yep, it’s wonderful to do things you love regardless of what the “authorities” on the subject say. I will admit, despite the fact that my home is full of light colors and lots of white, I am one of those people who you will mostly find in head to toe black! Lol… I think it’s a New York thing… 😉
