French Country Fridays 11: Savoring the Charm of French Inspired Decor

Welcome to French Country Fridays 11, a place to celebrate the charm of French inspired decor!

There’s something about this time of year, the time of renewal, that motivates me to get things done. Projects I’ve been thinking about for months I now feel ready to tackle. The holiday season kept me busy and then the winter had me hibernating. But now I’m inspired to take things on full force.

The problem now is what to accomplish first. I find myself all over the place, wanting to get it all done. But, of course, constraints on my time, not to mention my budget, do not allow for that.

What I do feel certain of is that my style is now clearly defined. A bit updated and somewhat fine-tuned, but I’m clear on what I want. I’ve been shopping a lot and planning even more. I want to space out my purchases, avoid diversions and stay the course. Expect to see in the next few months several of my rooms becoming more refined, closer to my stylistic vision. What I started in the kitchen, dining room and family room, I hope to extend to the living room, office, master bedroom and bath.

But for now, I’m spending a lot of time online shopping.
