French Country Fridays 3: Celebrating the Charm of French Inspired Decor
Welcome to French Country Fridays 3, a place to celebrate the charm of French inspired decor!
I’m so delighted with the response we’ve had to this series! Seems we have a quite few French Country fans out there… 🙂 I often think about what French Country means in a modern American home and I think this group of bloggers gives you a great place to start in helping to define that. For me, it has a lot to do with vintage pieces, aged patina, touches of gilding and a healthy dose of beautiful flowers. We’ve come a long way since the days of dark muddy colors and ditzy patterns, with color palettes feeling much lighter, and styling looking a lot less cluttered. The influence is French to be sure, but it’s adapted for a new audience. I hope you enjoy reading these posts as much as I do.
