Maybe you have a list of things you’ve been hoping to get, but when a store holds their biggest sale of the year, the choices can be limitless and the ways to take advantage can be overwhelming. Suddenly you forget everything you want.
Wayfair’s Way Day Sale
Today is the second (and last) day of Wayfair’s annual Way Day sale, where you’ll find their biggest discounts and lowest prices of the year, with savings of up to 80% off and free shipping on every order.
To keep you focused and help you find some great pieces, I’ve curated a selection of my top picks for decorating your living spaces and bedrooms. I’ve combed through the sale and pulled out some favorite items that are lovely on their own, or work wonderfully together, and maintain an updated rustic chic aesthetic. You’ll find them all below or you can also start from the sale’s home page.
Decor for the Living Room
My selections for the living room comprise a tranquil mix of tailored items with rugged natural finishes. The color palette for both rooms is centered around pale neutrals with just a touch of peaceful shades of aqua.
Living room furnishings include the beige chesterfield sofa, the curved arm swivel armchair (comes in other colors, as well), the classic striped club chair, the spacious whitewashed storage coffee table, the woven hourglass drum end table, the distressed wood entryway bench, and the flat weave natural rug.
Accent pieces include the seagrass basket plate wall decor, the aqua embroidered throw pillow, the floral print cotton pillow, the handmade natural throw blanket, the animal print indoor/outdoor pillow, the ceramic floral decorative bowl, and the weathered wood bead garland.
Decor for the Bedroom
The bedroom palette is quite similar with lots of wood and rattan balanced off of placid and soft blues.
Furnishings revolve around a rattan headboard, a rustic wood 2-drawer nightstand, a two-tone 9-drawer dresser and plush tufted club chair. You’ll also find a natural geometric patterned rug and french-inspired chandelier.
Accent pieces include a trio of throw pillows (an aqua tassel, an ivory textured lumbar and a faded tapestry pattern) blending with a natural Belgian linen sheet set, along with a popup belly wicker basket, a handmade raw wood table vase and a pale blue glass votive holder set.
