The start of a new year is always a great time to look back and take stock.

What better way to assess where you are and then look ahead?

This past year was a year of changes, some personal and some professional. In terms of my home, it was a year of making sweeping updates yet without changing a whole lot of furniture.

I will summarize the before and afters in a future post, but suffice it to say, my home looks quite different yet I didn’t spend a fortune.

There was one large renovation to the master bath, but mostly everything else was done with paint and accessories.

Today I’m taking a brief look at the past year and sharing some of the highlights with you, specifically my Top 10 Posts of the year. These are not necessarily my favorite posts but the posts that were actually the most popular on my blog.

I’m so excited about the year to come! There are still plenty of updates to work on in my home (I’m looking at you bedrooms!), but I also see this year as the year of getting organized. In the past I’ve always been extremely organized, but lately the clutter has started to collect and it’s time to get my decluttering groove back.
